More sources need clearer choices
A second playlist can be useful, yet it can also make an app harder to navigate when every entry has a similar name. The aim is not to collect lists. It is to recognise the right catalogue, guide and favourites without guessing.
LynoTV is a media player for M3U playlists and Xtream Codes access that you add. It does not provide channels, playlists, audiovisual content or an IPTV subscription. Categories, programme information and playback options depend on the data supplied by each source.
Use only access you are entitled to use. Keep credentials private as well: a support request can describe the device and an issue, but should never include a password or a complete playlist address.
Choose names that answer a question
Give each source a name that tells you why it exists. “Living room”, “travel” or “main service” is usually more useful than a technical label copied from an address. Clear names matter when two sources contain similar categories, and are especially valuable with a remote on Android TV, Google TV or Fire TV.
Add one source, allow its import to complete, and then inspect a few categories before adding another. Check whether search behaves as expected and whether programme information is present. A missing TV guide does not automatically mean that the import failed: EPG availability depends on the source.
Do not rename sources, change player settings and edit connection details in one session. A single deliberate change is easier to understand if something no longer behaves as expected.
Give each playlist a role
Ask what a new source contributes before keeping it. It may serve live viewing, a particular catalogue or a secondary device. If it only repeats what you already use, it may add search results without improving the experience. A small number of purposeful sources makes favourites more meaningful and browsing calmer.
Capabilities still depend on what is available. Audio tracks, subtitles, catch-up, downloads and multiview are not guaranteed merely because a source has been added. They require compatible information, content, stream and device. Organisation helps you find what exists; it does not create missing options.
On a phone or tablet, limiting the active lists is often helpful. On a TV, names should be readable and distinguishable at a glance. Both approaches reduce accidental switching between similar catalogues.
Local use or Premium continuity
The current Free offer keeps use local, with one source or playlist per device according to the terms displayed by LynoTV. That is often enough for a device with its own independent setup. Premium enables multiple playlists and optional encrypted Cloud synchronisation after your consent.
Synchronisation is not a substitute for sorting. First remove unnecessary duplicates and settle on useful names. Then decide whether continuity between authorised devices is worthwhile for your own routine. Visit the Premium page for the conditions that apply when you make that decision.

Define the purpose, name the source, confirm the import, test a few items and add only useful favourites. The LynoTV guides explain the initial setup steps. This simple sequence keeps several sources manageable without sharing sensitive connection details.
